 Welcome

Melbourne Bipolar Network is a non-profit initiative for the mental health community and we are focussed on support groups and their members.

Support groups can play an important role for bipolar diagnosed people in their journey back to a fully functional life. Melbourne presently has only 6 bipolar support groups operating and this is abysmally inadequate considering there are more than 50,000 people with bipolar disorder in this city. Melbourne Bipolar Network will proactively help establish more support groups around Melbourne, and it will also assist our existing groups who are operating on a shoestring.

We intend this website to be comprehensive and interesting for the Melbourne bipolar community and other visitors. Over the next few months we will progressively load further content to this site and if you have any suggestion or issue with anything we publish, please let us know.

Melbourne Bipolar Network also publishes a monthly newsletter - just click on the subscribe@MBPN.org.au button to join our mailing list.
